FAIRS & EXHIBITS

WILDWOOD PRESS: MANY HANDS

Over the years, Wildwood Press has had many assistants who helped make big prints. And many of those assistants happen to be Pele Prints artists as well. This exhibit at French Curve Gallery in 2024 highlighted some of the work from these hard-working assistants and Pele artists.

MIAMI

Pele Prints exhibited at Ink Miami Art Fair from 2017 to 2019, and subsequently at Aqua Art Miami from 2012 to 2016. Held during Art Basel and Miami Art Week, the Ink Miami Art Fair showcases prints and works on paper in a relaxed and lovely South Beach setting.

NEW YORK

Pele Prints has headed to New York fairs on two occasions. In 2014, we participated in the Select Fair in Chelsea. The latest show was in 2017 at the Art on Paper fair at Pier 36.

HOUSTON

In 2018, Pele Prints took part in the Texas Contemporary art fair in Houston.

CHICAGO

Our first major art fair was at the NEXT Invitational Art Fair in 2008. Pele Prints participated in NEXT for four consecutive years. This show was part of the Art Chicago / Artropolis festivities.

PRINTMAKING IN ST. LOUIS NOW

We were so pleased to take part in this exhibition highlighting all of the incredible printmaking work being done in St. Louis. Held at the Sheldon Art Galleries in the Spring of 2016, Printmaking in St. Louis Now featured seven Pele artists and their collaborations with the studio.

KANSAS CITY

In the Fall of 2014, two concurrent Pele Prints exhibitions were held in Kansas City. Structure, Story & Flow highlighted several Pele artists in the Opie Gallery at the Leedy-Voulkos Art Center. Just one block away at Beco Flowers/Gallery, Botanical Explorations displayed Pele works with a focus on nature.

INDONESIA

In 2010, we participated in an artist's abroad program that took Pele Prints' work to Indonesia. Our collaborations were introduced internationally at two exhibits, one in Jakarta at the National Museum and one in Bali at the Blanco Museum.

INTERFACE AT COCA

Interface was held in 2010 in the Millstone Gallery at COCA (Center of Creative Arts). This exhibition featured collaborative work from Pele Prints alongside the solo work of the Pele artists.
